A cleaner seasonal start

The opening is the setup, not a promise of crystal-clear water that day.

A proper opening restores the pool’s physical systems and begins water treatment. The time required for clear, balanced water depends on the water condition, sanitation and circulation after the visit.

  • Cover removal as included in the confirmed scope
  • Reconnection of pool equipment and plumbing
  • Removal of winterizing plugs and accessories
  • System startup and basic operational check
  • Opening chemicals or optional cleanup only when quoted

Before the appointment

A few details prevent wasted visits.

1

Choose the pool type

Tell us whether the pool is above-ground or in-ground, its approximate size and the type of winter cover.

2

List the equipment

Identify pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, water features and anything disconnected or stored for winter.

3

Prepare access

Make sure gates are unlocked, components are available and utilities required for startup can be accessed safely.

Scope and add-ons

Standard service must be defined before it can be priced fairly.

Pools vary. Heavy cover debris, missing parts, failed equipment, green-water recovery and extra accessories are not honestly handled by pretending every opening is identical.

Any optional chemical, cleaning or equipment-related work should be listed and approved separately when it falls outside the standard opening scope.

Opening FAQs

Clear expectations.

Will the water be clear when you leave?

Not necessarily. The opening starts circulation and treatment. Water condition, temperature, chemistry and filtration determine how long clearing takes.

Are chemicals included?

The confirmed quote will state exactly what is included. Optional or additional treatment should be priced separately.

Do I need to be home?

Not always, provided safe access, utilities and all pool components are available and any required authorizations are confirmed.

What if equipment does not start?

We document the problem and discuss the next step. Repairs or replacement outside the confirmed opening scope require approval.
